The natural gas in the pipeline is separated methane and hydrogen, and a small amount of residual hydrogen sulfide, and then liquefied by low-temperature pressure. The medium in the pipeline is low-temperature liquid, occasionally exists as gas.
Considering the low temperature, air tightness, H2S corrosively of the medium, and the overstocking and expansion of cryogenic liquefied gas in the valve cavity, FBV recommends using forged low temperature steel double isolation and discharge (DIB) soft seat ball valve.
FBV ball valves which are designed for low temperature LNG services select low temperature material with good low temperature toughness for the valve body and internal parts. The lip seal structure is adopted to fully adapt to the temperature and zero leakage sealing grade specified by the user. Self-pressure relief in the middle cavity is designed to avoid the harm caused by sudden pressure increase of liquefied gas trapped in the middle chamber after sudden gasification.
